- Each local group (those outside Washington, D.C.-Baltimore area) will raise funds to support its own expenses such as meals, meeting space rental or maintenance, etc.
- In addition to the expenses of meetings, local groups may raise funds for travel grants, registrations for retreats, emergency charitable relief for local members, etc.
- Leaders of the local groups shall formulate guidelines for contributions to the local group.
- All members in local groups (or isolated from any group) should also contribute to the Perennial Foundation for support of its work on behalf of the group as a whole.
- Members in the United States and Canada (North America) are asked to contribute a minimum of $150 per year to the Perennial Foundation, in addition to the contribution they make to their local group (if any).
- Members outside of North America are asked to contribute a minimum of $100 per year, in addition to contributions to their local group (if any).
- The guidelines for contributions by members who regularly participate in meetings in the Washington, D.C.-Baltimore area are: Minimum of $60/month for individuals, $100/month for families, $35/month for individuals unable to contribute $60. (These amounts include the $150/year for the tariqah as a whole.)
- Members may donate less than the recommended amounts, depending on their financial situation at the time. Contributions of time and service should be discussed with leaders of the group.
- Members willing and able to contribute more than the minimums under our guidelines are encouraged to do so. Please contribute as much money and service as you are comfortable and happy to give, given your circumstances.
These recommended donation guidelines are expressed in terms of specific amounts per year or per month. However, you may contribute by check, cash, or through this website with a series of one-time donations on whatever schedule is convenient for you – e.g., once a quarter, twice a year, once a year.
